I Have Wheezing And Tightness In My Breath Getting Gradually

I have wheezing and tightness in my breath getting gradually worse over last few years. diagnosed with asthma (blockage only---no attacks) as a child not on any meds. I have specific pain/squeezing (size of a quarter) upper left corner of right breast and lower left rib. Doc is sending me for a cardiopulmonary visit, what can I expect? I'm as healthy as a horse so to speak.
