I Have Woken Up In The Middle Of The Night

I have woken up in the middle of the night twice now with the palms of my hands itching, the bottoms of my feet itching, red, swollen. The first time I didn't have any Benadryl so by the time I got some at 3:30am, I had bumps all over my torso, my arms, my neck. This morning I caught it in time so I only had the itching on my hands and feet. I have no known allergies but both times it has happened, I've taken a 1000 mg prescription Ibuprofen for tendinitis in my left heel. I'm wondering if it's coincidental?
