I Have Wound Up In Er Several Times Of Late.

I have wound up in er several times of late. In severe pain! Located up under a rib on my left side, or at lease that is where it hurts. Pain is debilitating! Scares me. ER always wind up saying 'swollen spleen' but no one has talked about that to me, and sort of make me feel like it's no big deal to them. It is to me. As I said 'extreme pain'. They've checked for dyspenya (sorry about spelling) Last time sent me home with Ativan (Yuck - don't like pain pills, and are telling me it's of a psychosymatic nature ???? Then why does my paperwork ALWAYS mention a swellen spleen. Am I on the wrong track here?
