I Haven't Had A Bowel Movment In A Week. My

I haven't had a bowel movment in a week. My doctor prescribed me a lax. But liquid is the only thing that came out. Now my skin appears to be yellowish-tan and I'm still not having a bowel movement. I also am running a slight fever. Could there e something seriously wrong with me?
