I Haven't Had A Thyroid Gland For 25 Years. I

I haven't had a thyroid gland for 25 years. I was under the care of a great physician for 13 years until she retired. My new doctor doesn't agree with what I have been doing under the care of my former doctor. I do best at the lower end of the TSH test, around .2. 3 .4. and right now it is 1.8. It has been difficult for me to feel well at his TSH reading. I finally asked to please help me by giving me a little more RX. I had taken 175 mg fo rmany years and showed her on previous test that I was always healthy at the above readings. She was very apprehensive to help me suggesting it might cause congestive heart failure. I told her I had never been told anything was wrong with my heart, even had to wear a heart monitor last summer which said I had a very healthy heart. I did have high blood pressure lately, and that had always been under control with the lower TSH reading. So, immediately after getting a little more thyroid, Levoxyl, added, breaking a 25 milligram pill in half, giving me 12. 5 mg a day, I began to feel better, able to feel more like my old self, back to normal blood pressure even. What do you say about congestive heart failure and relying on a person well being as they suggest rather than feeling tired, not being able to walk or exercise, falling asleep watching the evening news, not being able to think or remember things. Those all disappeared with in 4 days of the thyroid adjustment.
