I Having Been Taking Cough Medicine At Night Just So

I having been taking cough medicine at night just so I can sleep through a nasty cold that out mucus in my lungs. Once I started taking it I noticed, especially in the mornings, that my urine has a sickly sweet odor. I am just wondering if the medicine could be affecting that.
