I Helped Lift My Sister, Who Is Very Overweight, Off

I helped lift my sister, who is very overweight, off the toilet. I heard cracking and popping in my lower right side. It’s a dull pain most of the time but I can5 seem to lay flat or on one side to sleep without a stabbing pain. Should I get an X-ray, see a chiropractor, or what?
