I Historically Have Headaches Every Day. Earlier Tonight I Took

I historically have headaches every day. Earlier tonight I took tylenol & codeine, 300 mg acetiminophen + 30 mg codeine, 1 tablet at 12:30 p.m. & another at 6:30 p.m. I am having a reaction after the 2nd pill: chest was a little tight but better now, Have felt drowsy & a litttle stoned since. Most serious, however is a severe headache about 30 min. after took pill (7:15) & since. It is on top back of head. It's been 5 hours; OK to take Excedrin? Could this be something like stroke, aneurism, etc.? I recently found out I have a Carotid artery blockage. Need something for pain tonight so I can see Dr. tomorrow.
