I Hit My Ankle In The Front Lower Part Of

I hit my ankle in the front lower part of my ankle throwing a vacuum into the garbage missed the garbage and the vacuum hit my leg it a swollen and bruised on all sides of my ankle the hospital said it was a sprained ankle my toes in that foot we bruised and have been numb today. I can not stand on that foot it's been 6 days since the initial injury.
