I Hit My Foot Hard But All Of Sudden It

I hit my foot hard but all of sudden it wouldnt stop hurting its right between the middle of my foot n the three smallest toes n it hurts alot to stand n alot more to walk but theres no swelling at all. is this serious or can i jus stay home and rest it for a couple days?
