I Hit My Head On Christmas Extremely Hard. It Is

I hit my head on Christmas extremely hard. It is my forehead. Since then I am noticing short term memory loss severe headaches daily and a knot that is hard and will not go away. Mother died of brain aneurysm at 23. Just wondering if I should be concerned or if it will eventually go away. I have injured this same spot many times in the past
