I Hit My Head On The Corner Of A Nite

I hit my head on the corner of a nite table Thursday am. It immediately became swollen with a large knot above my right eye. I did not lose consciousness, but was "disoriented" for a moment. The swelling has gone down some where the knot was, but now (Sunday) my entire right eye socket Is slightly swollen and the bruising is getting worse. It is all the way around and under my eye. Should I be concerned or is this bruising probably the blood dissipating causing the horrible bruising?
