I Hit My Outer Thigh Very Hard On A Metal

I hit my outer thigh very hard on a metal about 3 months ago and a round lump size of a golf ball is still present up to now. Initially numb but the feeling is starting to get normal. Will this eventually go away or I need to see a doctor now? Appreciate your help.
