I Hit My Pinky Side On A Plank Of Wood.

I hit my pinky side on a plank of wood. As this was a week ago the swelling has gone down.When I feel over the injured part I have a lump and a sharp pain down the metacarpal bone. I have accidentally hit and touched this multiple times and the sharp pain comes back. The last time I hit it a bruise appeared and is slowly going down but the pain is still here. Is there a chance of it being broken and should I go to a doctor?
