I Hit My Upper Left Thigh When I Tripped And

I hit my upper left thigh when I tripped and fell hard into a table last week. I have a huuuuuuuuge bruise which seems to be healing (going through color changes and receding) but I have a large hard knot like lump now ... I have used Trameel and Arnica creams (alternating days) iced it.,, elevating as much as possible but I am really anxious about the bump and bruise and want to do EVERYTHING I can to reduce my recovery time PLEASE HELP!
