I Hit One Of My Thoracic Vertebrae., Smack Dab In

I hit one of my thoracic vertebrae., smack dab in the middle of the spine, on a sharp edge in a hot tub.

Immediately, the site swelled up like knot and I had a raised bump about 2 cm diameter and raised about 1 cm. the site was tender.

It remained red for a couple of days.

I saw my cousin recently and he gave me a good hard smack on the back kind of hug right where the swelling was located.
Immediately I started bleeding from the site, old brown clotted blood (watered down motor oil color).
Then it went to a normal red blood texture.
Within a minute, the bleeding stopped and now it just looks like a large zit that is healing from drainage.

I assumed it was a type of traumatic hematoma that drained when pressure from the hit occurred.
