I Hit The Top Of My Foot On The Corner

I hit the top of my foot on the corner of a rocking chair point and it has caused a big blue knot the size of an egg, no joke. I put ice on the area and within 10 minutes, the big knot appeared. I have put ice pack on it and proped my foot up. It is still a very big bruise. This happened a coule of hours ago. What can I do at home without seeing a doctor? Thanks!
