I Hv Taking Thyronorm For Hypothyroidism For The Past 6-7
I hv taking thyronorm for hypothyroidism for the past 6-7 years. Started with 50mcg dose and was on 100 mcg dose since last 4 years.
Suddenly my BP went very low and when tested my TSH level was <0.05 and T4 was 123.50 nmol/L.
The doctor changed my medicine to eltroxin 50 mcg and also prescribed an iron tablet.
Why has my thyroid level gone down ? Is it because of the viral infection I had one month back ?
What precautions should I take ?
