I Injured My Arm 8 Days Ago. I Was Working

I injured my arm 8 days ago. I was working on metal in my shop. It took 24 stitches to close the wound and my wife took the stitches on day 7. The wound did not stay closed and began to ooze yellow fluid. I cleaned the wound with peroxide and put triple antibiotics on it. Still the wound looks odd and I am concerned. Could it be infected?
