I Injured My Rib On The Left Side. Immediately Had

I injured my rib on the left side. Immediately had severe pain. It's been a few days and it still hurts very bad to move or breathe. Now if I push on it or breathe deeply the rib clicks. Do I need an X-ray or see a doctor. Everything I've read says there is no specific treatment other than pain control. I also have osteopenia .
