I Injured The Side Of My Knee By Banging It

I injured the side of my knee by banging it into the floor when I went down. I have some swelling and intermittent pain. I have constant pain and I had xrays there is no break ot fracture. I have been going to pt but the pain is getting worse. The pain somtimes travels up into my hip area and then my leg goes numb
