I Jammed My Middle Finger When I Was Cleaning Something

I jammed my middle finger when I was cleaning something on the carpet yesterday.
It was swollen yesterday & I could not straighten the very top section. Took ibuprofen & swelling has gone down some. Still unable straighten today...doesn't really hurt. Could it be broken? Regardless...
