I Just Brushed My Teeth With Baking Soda With Peroxide

I just brushed my teeth with baking soda with peroxide I do it a few times a week. Besides just plain tooth paste,but today I noticed a vein on the inside of my jaw it doest hurt or irratate I just never seen before what could this be I do smoke cigarettes as well whats going on in my mouth ?
