I Just Came Home From A Dr Appt. I Have

I just came home from a dr appt. I have a tinder spot below my left breast, he said it was a cysts (about the size of a marble) and it would need to be removed because it is painful. He suggested either a dermatologist or a general surgeon. How do I know which dr to contact?
