I Just Came Home From Urgent Care. I Was Tested

I just came home from urgent care. I was tested last week and my ketones were +1 and they tested them again today the have elevated to +2. I am a type 2 diabetic and do take Metformin. I have recently seen a Rheumatologist but, have not gotten all of the result back. I very concerned with my kidneys. I did have problems with my kidneys as a child.? Can you possibly give me some feed back on my elevated ketones and frequent urination.
