I Just Fell In My Back Yard Backward Hitting A

I just fell in my back yard backward hitting a large pot on left side of back just below bra. took my breath away but I was able to get up after a couple of minutes. Can one breakl a rib this way? Would there be lots of pain with a broken rib? Now it only hurt if I breathe deeply and it is bearable.
