I Just Finished My First Pack Of Mini Pills. A

I just finished my first pack of mini pills. A few days after starting to take them I had what seemed to be a normal period. Based on that being a period I should be due for another one but all I'm having is brown discharge. I am still breastfeeding and taking them. I haven't missed a day but there were 2 days where I took them later than usual but only by a couple hours. Otherwise it's been at the exact same time every day. Is this normal while being on the mini pill or should I take a pregnancy test?
