I Just Finished Radiation Therapy For Triple Negative Breast Cancer
I just finished radiation therapy for Triple Negative Breast Cancer one week ago. This morning I woke up with a horrible chest cold. I felt fine when I went to bed and when I woke up I had a very deep cough, my chest feels full, I'm wheezing, my nose is running, and I can't take a deep breath without coughing.
I plan on calling the doctor in the morning but wasn't sure if I should wait or whether my immunity is weakened from the radiation like it was from the chemo. On a side note this is the first time I have been sick since I was first diagnosed the first of Feb. I haven't seen my GP since then and have been being treated at MD Anderson but I am home now so the GP is my only alternative without an 8 hour drive.
