I Just Found Out My Father In Law Was Diagnosed

I just found out my father in law was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver.
He has never drank. He is on tons of meds, has stomach cancer a bad heart with numerous
Other Heath problems. He hasn't really eaten in months. A bite here and there. He has also has had to have several blood transfusion. What do u think caused the cirrhosis.
