I Just Gave My Cat His Insulin Injection But I

I just gave my cat his insulin injection but I think that I must have withdrawn the needle to soon and got some insulin on him and me. I noticed a liquied on my right hand on two fingers. I have a glucose monitor at home and tested my BS. It's 7 am and I just had a bowl of Cheerios this morning at 6am. I am prediabetic. My BS was 67. Can insulin be absorbed through the skin? When I saw the liquid I held my hand under running water for about two minutes and then soaped it and washed it. I'm not positive it was insulin? Should I be concerned?
