I Just Got A Call Telling Me My 81 Yr

I just got a call telling me my 81 yr old mother's blood pressure is at 200/79. She's currently at a hospital emergency room. She is a non-smoking resident in an assisted living facility and is an alzhiemer's patient. What could be causing this spike?
