I Just Got Back From Having A Colonscophy. They Put

I just got back from having a colonscophy. They put a IV in my hand. It hurt when outting in meds and when i just took off bandage my veins are HUGE and bubbly and hurt BAD. And my hand is swollen. What can i do to help? Should i take a baby aspririn and ice it?
