I Just Got My Mri Scan Results On My Lumbosacral

I just got my mri scan results on my lumbosacral spine but they found a gross irregularity of multiple anterosuperior end plates which have the appearance of scheuermann's disease
could you please explain to me what that means as I have no idea I don't even know what endplates mean
