I Just Had A Chiari Decompression Surgery. I Admitted I

I just had a chiari decompression surgery. I admitted I have a history with opposite abuse and am on sub ozone. After the surgery I was prescribed Percocet 5s, 2 every 4 hours. This is day 5 and a couple days ago I started taking more Percocet than I was supposed to. Maybe 20mg every 4 hrs but I needed to in order to curb the pain. It was bad when it was bad. Now I'm running low on meds don't really wanna ask for more bc I don't wanna go down that dark Rd so I'm considering marijuana. I'm an old school pot head but hasn't smoked in several year. Do you feel this will be beneficial or just tell the doc the 5s weren't enough and I'm almost out. My malformation left 6 cm cyst in my spinal chords. The doc said the renewed space should dissolve that. Any advice is appreciate. Btw.... I'm also prescribed a small amount of valiume for spasm ad anxiety. I seems to help but I take them as directed.
