I Just Had A Colinoscopy.and My Docter Told Me That

I just had a colinoscopy.and my docter told me that my colin looked great,but i had a very small polyp that she removed,they called me today and told me it was a precancerous polyp,not cancer,and she wants me to do a follow up in 5 yesrs,do you think 5 years is to long of a time for a follow up?and i also read that 30 percent of people who had a polyp will get them again,and being a noncancerous,are my chances greater because of that.
