Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I just had a needle aspiration done a week ago for my hydrocele. The surgeon made an incision first on my right testicle, then did the fluid removal with the needle. After a week it feels like the fluid has gone back up to half the size in the sac, and also there seems to be flowing fluid outside the sac, that was not there before the needle aspiration. Can you tell me what the fluid are outside the sac, and the fluid inside the sac, is that just inflammation? Also if I want to get a needle aspiration done again, can that be done without making a cut, for example using a imaging method like an ultrasound?
