I Just Had An Appendectomy Performed On May 21, I

I just had an appendectomy performed on May 21, I had my follow-up appointment today and completely absent mindedly forgot to ask them about a rash that I have developed. The rash is on my hips and sides so it's not really close to the incisions. I've been racking my brain to figure out what could have caused it other than something related to the appendectomy and can't figure out anything. Could this rash be related to my appendectomy? If so is it something I should be concerned with?
