I Just Had Major Back Surgery L2 To S1 Fusion

I just had major back surgery L2 to S1 Fusion they went in from the front the back and my left side and I've been taking hydrocodone and I don't like the way it makes my mind race can't sleep schizophrenic things happen whenever I close my eyes is it okay to get off that and take Ibuprofen
