I Just Had My #1 Toe Nails Cut And The

I just had my #1 toe nails cut and the doctor cut the side of the right toe nail between the nail and flesh. The edge of the nail may be rough with slow knitting. How long will this take to knit and what should I do? I am using Neosporin with a band aid every day but I still feel pain.
