I Just Had Strabismus Surgery About 3 Days Ago. I

I just had strabismus surgery about 3 days ago. I was just wondering if its safe to smoke marijuana. I use it to help me sleep and it puts me in a comfortable state of mind.

Is it dangerous? Because smoking weed causes your eyes to become bloodshot and that means theres a lot of blood in the eye. Will that extra blood cause swelling? Will it mess with the stitches in my eye?

Last night i had a small amount of weed, and i noticed the incision on my eye looked a little bloodier than the day before. Was that because of the weed or is it natural for where the incision was, to look more bloodier.
