I Just Had Temporary Crowns Placed On My Top 2

I just had temporary crowns placed on my top 2 front teeth today. The dentist injected me with novocaine in my palate several times as well as my upper lip (once on left side, once on rigt side) and several times in my gums surrounding the teeth. Almost immediately after i felt like i was going to start sneezing like crazy and my nose was running (clear liquid). After i left the dentist and got home i was sneezing and have continuous non stop running nose. My eyes are itchy and my head feels kind of stuffy. I did not feel like this before i went in and had this procedure done. I am not getting a cold either. What is causing this?
