I Just Notice A Bump On The Top Of My

I just notice a bump on the top of my son's skull almost right in the middle, more to the left side, is about 4 inches long and 2/3 of an inch wide. It is hard it seems like is part of the skull, but it wasn't there before.
My son is 19 years old.
what can this be?
