I Just Noticed A 2x4 Inch Purple Bruise On My

I just noticed a 2x4 inch purple bruise on my thigh that I don't recall having this morning. There's a pink, firm, slightly raised area in the center about the size of a U.S. dime. It's sore but not highly painful. I'm scheduled to fly back home overseas in 5 hours. Is there a risk of a clot that could cause harm?
