I Just Noticed A Have A Small Lump/bump Under My

I just noticed a have a small lump/bump under my butthole. In between butt hole and vagina. It's small and only is irritated when touched. 2 questions: 1.) is this a hemmroid? 2.) if I'm not sure what it is, would it be a bad idea to put hemmroid cream on it? Thanks.
