I Just Received A Call From My Dermatologist That I

I just received a call from my dermatologist that i have squamous cell carcinoma on my face. The spot came up and grew very fast in the space of about a month. What is the prognosis at this early stage and what is the recommended treatment. I am a retired radiation therapist and am familiar with all types of cancer.
