I Just Started Taking Nexium And At The Same Time

I just started taking nexium and at the same time stopped taking estradial. When I have tried to stop taking my HRT IN THE PAST I HAD HORRIBLE HOT FLASHED AND INSOMNIA. I have not had any hot flashes and I am wondering if it is because I am taking Nexium?
