I Just Started Using Tampons And Sometimes They Go In

I just started using tampons and sometimes they go in pain free, but sometimes it is uncomfortable especially when I get to the stage of having to take them out. I took a look at my vagina and it looks like I have two holes at the entrance to it? They're both separated by a weird tissue like thing. The tissue is not perfect, it has hanging bits off it. The hole closest to the urethra is smaller than the one farthest away. I'm nervous because I've looked at my vagina before and this hasn't been an issue. Please help.
