I Just Stayed In A Cabin Where The Family Before

I just stayed in a cabin where the family before us has been diagnosed with pinworm. Can we treat eOurselves before we have any symptoms to nip it in the bid? Wondering if we can just keep treating every few days or every week for a while to prevent infestation.
