I Just Tried A Valerian/ Melatonin 200 Mg Pill For

I just tried a valerian/ melatonin 200 mg pill for the first time. A short time later, i had a bad allergy attack (i have bad allergies anyway, so may be unrelated, I struggle with constant, constant post nasal drip so that breathing is always a struggle). This particular attack came up suddenly and i grabbed the dephanydramine and took a pill. As i felt my throat constrict, i took a second and only then did it occur to me that it might interact w/ melatonin. Is it ok?
