I Just Visit The Dentist Today,and While He Was Having

I just visit the dentist today,and while he was having a conversation with me drop the tube with the instrument that gives out air to remove any chips or things from your the mouth. Then he graves it again and putting in my mouth and real ease air. My concern is did that fall on the floor or did it just bang the chair. Did I get any germs from this.
